It is now officially October. A lot of people think that the real estate market slows down in October, November, and December. After all, it’s the holiday season.
However, we actually see an uptick at this time of year.
Right now, we have 20% less inventory than we normally do heading into the fourth quarter. Inventory has dropped significantly compared to this time last year.
October, November, and December are more like June, July, and August in our market.
Last year, October, November, and December were more like June, July, and August. They were just really great months.
We don’t expect that to change this year. It’s a great time to put your house on the market. You may not get as many showings, but you will get better quality showings with more serious buyers.
