Is Now a Good Time to Buy or Sell Real Estate?

This is a question that I have been getting from a lot of clients, and I wanted to take a moment to answer as best as I possibly can for you. These are a few facts to take note of as we enter into the spring market in Jonesboro:

• Buyers are appearing rapidly after a rough winter that slowed the real estate market.
• Sellers are at and advantage because of low interest rates and also a low inventory of available homes. They will have less competition and should be able to get top dollar on their homes.
  

Buyers this spring will find that their choices are limited, but they should find some relief in the fact that interest rates are still very low.  However, interest rates are expected to rise by the first quarter of 2015, so if you're delaying your decision to buy a home, it could be very costly to wait. Your money will buy more home today than it will one year from now.
