Today I want to inform you about what is happening in local school districts here in Northeast Arkansas.
While Jonesboro is a small community of only about 80,000 people, there are five school districts that call it home. When people are moving in from out of town, they often ask about the differences between school districts, but really, you cannot go wrong—they are all great schools. Your kids won’t end up in a huge graduating class; the average ranges between 100 to 400 students per class.
Out-of-towners also want to know what each school offers. Jonesboro’s larger schools have more options for academics and athletics, but each one has a different feel.
We are truly blessed to have everything that we have here in Jonesboro.
We are seeing so much growth in each school district. You can drive around each campus and see a new building in the process of construction at just about every one. Sports fields have been revamped with turf and new stadiums. Additionally, there are even a couple options for private schools in the area.
If you have any questions about a specific school district, you can do some research online, or you can simply call or visit the school in question; the principals and superintendents are happy to speak with you.
