Thanks so much for continuing to send in all of your questions. I’m going to answer another one today. The question is, “What does it mean when I call the number on a yard sign?”
When you’re driving through a neighborhood and see a sign in the yard that has a company or agent name on it, it means that agent and that company are representing the seller. At one time or another, they sat down with an agent and signed an agreement for them to sell their home. The agent has a fiduciary duty to market the home and get the home seller as much money as possible.
When you call that sign number, the agent will be able to give you all the information you’ll need about the home. However, keep in mind that they are working for the seller with their best interest in mind.
Keep in mind that they are working for the seller.
That’s why we have exclusive buyer agent on our team. They don’t have any listings and are not representing any sellers out there. This allows them to put you first as a buyer.
There’s no harm in calling those signs, but if you’re truly interested in a property, know that you should have somebody on your side to make sure you get the best deal possible.
If you have any more questions or any more real estate needs I can assist with, please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
